What You and Your Pup Can Expect
Pets of any size are welcome at Fairmont Vancouver Airport at a price of $50 per night, with a maximum 2 pets per room. We are pleased to offer pet-friendly amenities for your dog(s), including pet beds and bowls. Pets must be on a leash at all times and must never be left unattended in the room. Pets are not allowed in restaurants due to health regulations. Service dogs are always welcome at no charge.
Walking Areas & Dog Parks
For bathroom breaks, you can access the grassy area outside our main doors and small forested area beyond. There is also a short nature trail in front of Vancouver International Airport with an enclosed dog relief area at one end. You can find this trail on the Arrivals level. McDonald Beach Dog Park is a short drive away and is known as one of the best off-leash dog parks in the city. The park features a large beach on the river, walking trails and lots of opportunities to play with other dogs.
YVR's Pet Relief Areas
Passengers travelling through YVR with a pet or service animal can now find pet relief areas pre-security, and post-security on all piers without having to exit the terminal.
The pet-friendly restrooms are complete with artificial grass, touchless entry, and lowered counters for individuals using wheelchairs, and features a large interior for ease of
maneuverability.
Pre-Security
Outdoor pet relief areas pre-security are located outside Internationals Arrivals at the entrance to Chester Johnson Park and at the South Terminal Building across from the north
entrance.
Post-Security
There are six full-service Pet Relief Areas post-security at YVR on the A/B, C, and D piers, as well as at the South Terminal. The relief areas are available for any passenger travelling with pets or service animals.
Dog Sitting, Walking & Daycare

- Please never leave your pets unattended in your guest room or suite. Any noise complaints received may result in additional charges.
