WONTON MAMA returns to Fairmont Vancouver Airport for a second season, bringing the vibrant spirit of Hong Kong street food to the West Coast through a distinctly Chinese Canadian lens. Created in collaboration with Fairmont Vancouver Airport and MAMAintheKitchen, this limited-time pop-up celebrates the flavours, memories, and cultural traditions that bring communities together.
Join us on October 23 for a special ticketed launch dinner in support of the Chinese Canadian Museum, with 100% of proceeds from the evening donated to the Museum. This special event marks the beginning of a season-long collaboration celebrating the stories, heritage, and contributions of Chinese Canadian communities.
Throughout the WONTON MAMA pop-up, guests can also explore CCM: The Gallery Lounge, a curated cultural space featuring selected moments from the Museum’s past exhibitions. Following the launch dinner, $1 from every order during regular service, beginning October 24, will be donated to the Chinese Canadian Museum, supporting its ongoing work to preserve and share Chinese Canadian history and culture.
More than just a meal, WONTON MAMA is a gathering place where food, culture, and community come together. Through this collaboration, we invite guests to celebrate the stories that connect us, honour the generations who came before us, and help carry Chinese Canadian heritage into the future.
